Robert Miltner is the author of two books of prose poetry, Orpheus & Echo (Etruscan Press, 2020) and Hotel Utopia (New Rivers Press, 2001); a collection of short stories, And Your Bird Can Sing (Bottom Dog Press, 2014); and a flash nonfiction collection, Ohio Apertures (Cornerstone Press, 2021). A professor emeritus from Kent State University Stark, he’s recently been an Ohio Arts Council Fellow at Vermont Studio Center, a poet-in-residence at Chautauqua Institution, and a visiting scholar on Contemporary American Poetry at University of Paris East. His current project is learning to play electric bass guitar.
